Oneloa Beach (Ironwoods)

Onealoa Beach (also known as Ironwoods) is a beautiful uncrowded beach located next to the Kapalua resort. It’s a 1/4 mile long and a nice spot to just relax and take it all in.

The beach is not a good spot for snorkeling/beginners, it is fairly exposed and can get rough when the waves are coming in. There is shallow reef right at the entrance and to the east. The bottom gets a little more sandy towards the west.

Go hike the Dragon’s Teeth Access Trail and then come down to the beach and cool off.

There are showers at the entrance to wash off, but no bathrooms nearby. Bathrooms on the golf course are locked. Parking is free, but minimal. However, you can usually find a spot because most people don’t realize there is a beach here. There is also parking over by the Dragon’s Teeth Access Trail, which is a short walk away,
