Pohaku Park is located in Napili-Honokowai. if you’re staying at any of the resorts or condos just north of Kaanapali, then this lovely little beach is a short walk away.
This is a great low-key spot to catch the sunset, get a view of Molokai, and maybe catch some turtles swimming around. The beach itself is a nice little cozy spot, with a few picnic tables and benches. There is a small parking lot here and most of the time you will have no trouble scoring a spot. The park has a place to rinse off and one porta potty.
In the winter, you can watch surfers right out front, although the break is pretty far away from the beach.
After catching sunset, head over to one of my favorite little gems on the island – Dollie’s Pub. Maui Brewing Co. is right around the corner as well.
