The first project in the van is complete! In this article I go over how to install the swivel seat from SwivelsRus for the Ram Promaster.
Materials/Tools Required
SwivelsRus Swivel Seat Adapter for the Promaster
Star Bit
Allen Wrench
Wrench (I love ratcheting wrenches)
Wire Cutter Pliers
Zip Ties
SwivelsRus Swivel Seat Installation Steps
1] Disconnect the negative from the house battery.
2] Remove the 6 screws from the seat.
3] Disconnect the yellow, orange, and black plugs from under the seat.
4] Pull the seat off of the base.
5] Put the SwivelsRus adapter on the base.
6] Using the original screws from the seat, attach the adapter to the base.
7] Feed the wires from the seat, through the center of the adapter, down to the connectors.
8] Place the seat on the adapter.
9] Attach the seat to the adapter using the nuts, washers, and bolts provided by SwivelsRus. Order of operations should be bolt, washer, seat, washer, nut.
10] Re-connect the yellow, orange, and black plugs. Zip-tie them together, but allow for some flexing while swiveling.
11] Re-connect the negative to the house battery.
12] Make sure your van starts and that you do not have any air bag warnings/errors.
13] SWIVELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!
